Lucy Hall

Lucy Hall is the Founder and CEO of Mary Hall Freedom House. Lucy came from a family that battled with generational addiction. Her mother died of alcoholism when she was six, and left behind seven children, some of whom later lost their lives to substance abuse. Lucy began walking the same path as her mother and abused drugs and alcohol for 10 years.

“I was looking for love in all the wrong places, and I found it in drugs and alcohol and ended up doing the same thing I said I would never do. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I came into recovery and never looked back.

Lucy has dedicated herself to breaking the cycle of generational addictions. Lucy holds a Bachelors degree in Human Services from Shorter University and holds national credentials as a substance abuse counselor.

Today, Lucy’s dream is a reality with Mary Hall Freedom House, named in memory of her mother. Through a community of sisterhood that teaches women to be independent and self-sufficient, Lucy coaches women to free themselves from their pasts and live every day for their futures.

She has empowered more than 5,000 women and children to break the cycle of generational addiction, poverty and homelessness.
